BACP Registered Project Counselling Coordinator

Hours: 8 per week

Salary: £15.00 per hour

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an individual to be part of the award winning team at Women’s Work working on the Below the Radar project.

As a Project Counselling Coordinator, funded by the Big Lottery, you will oversee the development and delivery of the counselling service working within the BACP Ethical Framework alongside recruiting and supporting a small team of volunteer counsellors.

Based in Derby City, you must have experience of working with disadvantaged and complex client groups and have the ability to work on your own initiative.  Good organisational, people and IT skills are essential.

A DBS check (Disclosure and Barring Service) will be required.

Workshop/Drop-in Volunteer Project Support Worker

Do you have two to three hours to spare a week? Would you like to volunteer at Women’s Work, an national award winning charity? Here at Women’s Work, we run drop-ins in which we offer service users a chance to chat and relax. We also provide a range of educational and learning opportunities. If you are confident, reliable, enthusiastic with good communication skills and are interested in working with vulnerable women, please contact us for an informal chat.

TIME COMMITMENT: From 2 hours per week
